Connection

"Connection" reflects on the human condition: much like the canvases themselves, individuals often remain confined within self-imposed boundaries and inherited structures. The installation proposes connection as an act of transformation — a process that requires the breaking open of rigid limits in order to create new forms of encounter, communication, and coexistence.

Due to its modular structure, each installation setup becomes inherently unique. The arrangement continuously adapts to its spatial context, allowing new constellations, tensions, and relationships to emerge with every presentation.

In this way, the work remains in a constant state of transformation rather than existing as a fixed composition.

The installation has been featured at the "Art in connection" group exhibition of November 2024 by Celina Könes, Sabine Umla-Latz and Rona Redeker at Köntges - Altstadtinitiative Mönchengladbach e.V. in Mönchengladbach.
